Metro Station Cable Containment

Scope

The station required a complete cable containment system for traction power, signalling, communications and platform services across three underground levels. We engineered the layout from the consultant’s single-line drawings and supplied the tray, supports and accessories as one coordinated package.

What we delivered

• Perforated and ladder cable tray in hot-dip galvanised finish, 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm steel thickness.
• Pre-assembled cantilever brackets with anti-vibration pads for the track-side runs.
• Fire barriers and segregation accessories to keep power and signalling circuits apart.
• Batch labelling keyed to the contractor’s installation zones, so each delivery could go straight to the level where it was needed.

Result

Four staged deliveries covered the full containment scope with no site re-cutting, which kept the fit-out programme on schedule and reduced waste on a constrained underground site.
