Data Centre Cable Containment

Scope

Two white-space halls needed overhead containment that would not interfere with hot-aisle return airflow or the sprinkler main. The containment also had to support later additions of fibre basket and power tray without re-drilling the soffit.

What we delivered

• Bespoke trapeze hangers combined with threaded rod and channel, modelled against the MEP coordination drawings.
• Segregated power and data routes with 300 mm separation maintained at every crossing.
• Pre-galvanised finish with an additional powder coat on exposed runs in the client-facing areas.
• BIM-ready layout drawings issued for clash detection before fabrication.

Result

Zero site clashes were reported during installation, and the client added a third hall on the same design without changes to the support grid.
